Hon. Princess Aderonke Stella Oluyede at the ElectHer Future Lawmakers Program.

I was opportuned to be selected to represent Ondo State at the Electher Future Lawmakers Program (EFLP) out of about 146 applicants from the 36states in Nigeria.

ElectHER is a non-partisan progressive women’s political advancement organization bridging inequality gaps in African democracy, by advocating for and enabling women’s leadership across appointive and elective office with the aim to fulfill that through behavioural change communications; skills development, human capital mobilization and campaign financing, with an end-goal to enable capable women competitively Decide, Run and Win elections.

I joined other great women leaders from across the states in Nigeria in an Engagement Learning expedition in Abuja after several weeks of virtual lectures, seminars, interactive sessions and master classes from professionals and Lawmakers from across Nigeria.

I on this note seize the opportunity to appreciate ElectHER future lawmaker fellowship for organizing the program to encourage female aspirants come 2023.. For improving our knowledge on what legislative entails.. Also for giving me the opportunity to serve the good people of Ondo State and always giving opportunities for young people to develop themselves and contribute their own quota to the development of the state and country at large.
