AARE DOTUN HASSAN PAID A WORKING VISIT TO THE NIGERIAN POLICE HEADQUARTERS, ABUJA, DECLARES SOUTHWEST PEACE AND SECURITY SUMMIT OPEN IN COLLABORATION WITH THE NIGERIAN POLICE FORCE
In line with the objectives of the Council, and based on the present porous state of our security architectures:, which gave rise to the unprecedented increased wave of insecurity of lives and properties, daily news of kidnapping and terrorism acts of the dreaded Fulani Herdsmen/Boko Haram terrorist groups, presently occupying cells in some identifiable deep forests and creeks, spreading across some southwestern states i.e Yoruba Lands.
Today, Yoruba Land has been reduced to a veritable torture chamber of fears and agony by this dreaded groups, hence we laconically condemned and frowned at this heinous criminality acts of terrorism, communal civil tensions and aggressive provocation in its entirety.
The with above, Aare Barr. Dotun Hassan , Eyinju Eledumare 1, the President of the Apex Yoruba Youths Group i.e Yoruba Council Of Youths Worldwide, YCYW (Igbimọ Àpapọ Ọdọ Yoruba Lagbaye) paid a working visit to the headquarters of the Nigeria Police Force , Abuja, for a strategic planning towards the council’s proposed Southwest Security Summit in partnership with the Nigerian Police Force.
The program which is proposed to be Tagged; Folumo 2022, is an all encompassing strategic event aimed to have important stakeholders, security experts and monarchs across the southwest region to deliberate and practically ensure the safety measures that would help secure the lives and properties and wellbeing of our people in the southwest states and beyond.
Representing the Inspector General of Police at the meeting was CP Akande who warmly received the Aare Olori Odo Oodua at the Police Headquarters, Abuja and also joining the President at the meeting is Omoluabi Oluwemimo Kayode Samson, the Deputy Chairman, YCYW Abuja Council.
Southwest Security Summit is realistic with our collective synergy, join us today and let’s make Yoruba land the safest part of the world again, because the security of lives and properties is our utmost priority – Aare Dotun Hassan.
