The Power of A Believer ( Sunday Sermon) by Apst. Monty Abraham, New Glory Assembly, Bayelsa State.

Summary of Sunday Sermon

Topic: The Power Of A Believer.

Bible Refs: Gen.1:26; 1John1:12.

In the beginning God created man in His Own image and after His likeness and He gave man Power to have dominion over everything on earth. But, man was deceived by Satan, he disobeyed God and became subjected to Satan. Gen.3:4-5.

However, Jesus came and restored the power back to man. Man ought to exercise the Power here on Earth by being incharge of all Creatures.

Matthew 28:18, “And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.”

Luke 10:19 says “Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.”

God has given you the Power to tread upon Satan and his agents; they can not harm you, because Power has been given to you.

The Bible says in Mark 16:18, “They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.”

As a Believer you are qualified to enjoy Spiritual gifts, nobody can Oppress you, you are a Terror in the realm of the Spirit. If you do not exercise your Power you will still be manipulated by people and entities.

It’s not only the Pastors or General Overseers that is in the position to exercise Power, No.
The Bible says we are all seated with Christ in Heavenly places, that is the position every believer occupies.

You are a new Creature in Christ Jesus with Power and with Full Authority, don’t allow yourself to be deceived by the Devil. You are to exercise your Power and dominion here on Earth.

Shalom
