APC Akure North strategize for Saturday Ward Congressas stakeholders meet
Leaders of Akure North APC meet today 25th July to plan for peaceful party Congress in Akure North.
The meeting was presided over by the party caretaker chairman of the party in the L.G.A Mr Joshua Eleti.
The meeting resolved to ensure peaceful ward meeting and in accordance with the directive of the party both at the national and state level to opt for consensus option in their various wards.
The meeting also advised all the group’s within the party to work together for the unity of the party, the party in Akure North re-affirmed thier loyalty to the Governor of Ondo State Arakunrin Odunayo Akeredolu SAN.
Present at the meeting presided over by the party chairman 11 out of 12 the ward chairman in the L.G.A, Six of the ten elected councillors of the council led by the leader of the legislative council Hon. Korede Folounsho, the council chairman surv. Bankole Ogbesetore, the council secretary Olubi Emmanuel, the former speaker of the state House of Assembly Rt. Hon Kenneth Olawale, immediate past commissioner for works in the state Hon saka Yusuf Ogunleye, two term House of Assembly member Hon Akin Adeniyi former council chairmen that has served in the council in the past, Hon Ayo Fadipe, Hon Simbo Akinola Obey, Rotimi Adeleye, former chairman of ondo state water corporation and chairman of technical education chief Dapo Fulani, former state chairman of defunct ANPP High Chief Yemisi Aladesaye, Sunday Falae, Chief Mrs Olufunke Adu iyaloja APC Ondo State, former Education secretary of the council Samuel Olowere, Mr Oluwatuyi Fatukasi the pioneer secretary of APC in Akure North L.G.A,bMr Deji Oluwasina former state exco of APC, Princess Ronke Oluyede SDP councillorship candidate at the last L.G.A election, other chieftains of the party that was represented at the meeting include Hon Olamide George former House of Assembly member, Barr. Olu Akinola the former House of Assembly candidate of the party, Mr Lincoln Afolabi Ojo SSA to Mr Governor, Mr Leye Akinola, SDP Chairmanship candidate in the last L.G.A election sent his apology.
The party resolved to sanction any erring members of the party whose action is seen as to bring the party into disrepute no matter how highly placed, the party is supreme
the meeting was well attended by other chieftains of the party across the L.G.A
