Apst. Monty Abraham- The Force of Faith

Summary of Sunday lesson

Topic: The Force of Faith

Sub- Topic: Enough Faith

Ref: Romans 12:3 KJV
“For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the *measure* *of* *faith*.”

The Bible says God has given you a measure of Faith, and that is enough for your present state. You should be careful about the kind of message you listen to, or read. For the Bible says Faith cometh by hearing and hearing the word of God, so do not be deceived by Satan just like Adam and Eve who were deceived by Satan to eat the fruit God ask them not to eat, and God sent them out of the garden of Eden. You must refuse any gospel that will reduce or decrease your faith in God. Be stirred to act on your faith.

Biblical Examples Of
Those Who Exercise Their Faith In God.

*Elijah*: He is a man of faith who told king Ahab that there would be heavy rain and by faith Elijah could hear the rain coming. He prayed and continued his actions in Faith that God would answer his prayer, and God answered his prayers. (1kings 18:42-45)

*Abraham*: God spoke to Abraham that he will have a son, Abraham believed God; the fact that he was almost a hundred years old; he was not weak in faith. He was strong in faith. ( Gen 18:10, Rom 4:3).

*Gideon*: Gideon was chosen to deliver God’s people from the hands of the Midianites and the Amalekites, but Gideon had a courageous Faith to obey the call of God. ( Judges 6:4)

*Samuel*: Samuel was the last judge that ruled the children of Israelites. He never doubted God’s word even when God told him to go and meet Saul, he never disobeyed, he obeyed God.

Exercise that measure of faith that you have. You have it. It was God who gave it to you. That your challenge is not bigger than your faith.
Shalom
