The NIGERIAN YOUTHS CONGRESS NYC OGUN State Chairman Comrade Seyifunmi Afolabi has charges the Nigerian Youths who are based in Ghana to be a good representation of the country Nigeria.
Speaking at the GHANA NIGERIA YOUTHS SUNMIT which was held yesterday 30th April 2021 at the MIKADO EVENT CENTER, LABONE JUNCTION ACCRA GHANA and was tagged “ACCRA 2021” with the Theme MAXIMIZING THE POTENTIAL OF AFRICA YOUTHS; THE TIME TO TAKE RESPONSIBILITY IS NOW. The Chairman of Nigerian Youth Congress in Ogun State who represented the National President of the Nigerian Youth Congress NYC said we are all born with some potentials in us and no one is born without any potential but it now depends on us how we can maximize our potentials as African Youths. He said if there is anytime to take action it is NOW because we are no more leaders of the future but leaders of today. In his statement he said we have to EATRAW that is we need to EQUIP ourselves, cultivate a right ATTITUDE, THINK fast, create a RELATIONSHIP within ourselves, we should be ACCOUNTABLE at all time and then we need to grow to MATURITY stage.
While commenting on the Nigerian Youths in Ghana Comrade Seyifunmi Afolabi noted that the news he had being hearing concerning Nigerian Youths in Ghana is not a good one and not encouraging he noted that one of the Taxi drivers who drove him to his hotel was telling him that Nigeria People are Bad and Wicked. He then call on all Nigerians who are Youth in Ghana should please give the country Nigeria a good name and that they should represent us well and stop giving us bad names outside the country because this will hinder the opportunities the good ones will have.
In his conclusion he said the National President of the Nigerian Youth Congress Comrade Blessing Akinlosotu send his greetings and also congratulate the convener of the Summit Comrade Barry Ndu for Successfully hosting of the Summit Comrade Seyifunmi in his capacity said since the convener is willing to bring the 9th Edition of GHANA NIGERIA YOUTHS SUNMIT to Nigeria he said the Nigeria Youths will be willing to host them come 2022.
