Pakunla In Onisere Ward Of Odigbo LG Gets Standard Blocks Of Classroom.

“Where we live and work has direct effect on our lives, and this is even more important to help give our children the best start in life, not just in terms of mental health but also academic improvement, the Lawmaker said”.

This laudable project consists the Construction of 3 Blocks of Classrooms, 2 office and Solar Power Light, facilitated to St. Philip Primary School Pakunla/Queen in Onisere ward of Odigbo Local Government Area, Ondo State by Rt. Hon Akinfolarin Mayowa as part of his constituency project.

The Lawmaker representing Odigbo/ Ile oluji/ Oke Igbo Federal Constituency said Incorporating good classroom and school design through school renovation has multiple benefits and he would ensured that his consituents enjoyed such.

He further said that such would Improved the results in Schools, attracting and retaining talented staff members that will boost the level of student’s assimilation of knowledge and improving the overall wellbeing of pupils and positively influence parents’ perception and satisfaction with school and help school move up educational standards and increase the number of pupils as well.


The people’s representative opined that when you undertake a school renovation project or upgrade an existing building you want to ensure it will not only enhance school facilities but also students academic performance. Because the school environment play an important role,the natural light is one of the key things you can have in your classroom. Large windows are excellent when combined with blinds to control the light levels or external shading to sunlit windows.Adding good quality artificial electrical lighting will help concentration, focus and attention.

He cap it all off that unhealthy environment affect children’s health, attendance, concentration and performance in the school.

In the remark of the School PTA Chairman, Mr Benjamin Akinboboye he thanked Rt. Hon Akinfolarin Mayowa for the amazing work he did for their children and community. He said, his passion and dedication to their school is greatly appreciated and this great gesture shall always linger for a long time in the community memory.

Mr Aremu Kehinde ( Obula), the school PTA Secretary made it known that since the dilapidated condition of the school building, their children usually trek to a far distance to have access to basic education. He expressed his gratitude to Rt. Hon Akinfolarin Mayowa for the job well done and assured him the community support in any of his future political ambition.
